Today is the National Day of Remembrance for Indian Boarding Schools.

This day acknowledges the history of institutions that aimed to erase Indigenous cultures, languages and identities.

We honor the survivors and the children who never came home.

Yay for youth!

What a fun movie night we had! So much junk food, and spider man reminding us that "With great power comes great responsibility." Special thanks to Olivia Johnston for leading us in prayer and a mini-devotion. 🙏 Let's do it again next month!

Tomorrow night is bar night (youth group!) for all kids 6th-12th grade. The event is at Trinity at 6:30pm. Youth should bring a frozen appetizer to share (we'll heat them up at church), and we'll have movie night in the theater downstairs. All friends are welcome and invited! [Be like Spidey and pick a great outfit to wear! ]

LWR Schoolkit update! As of Thursday, we have collected enough supplies to fill 100+ school kits. Thank you soooo much!

UPDATE: YOU ARE AMAZING! THE COLLECTIONS ARE COMPLETE AND WE HAVE ENOUGH TO FILL 100+ SCHOOL KITS. THANK YOU!!!!!!

LWR Schoolkit update! We received 175 notebooks this week!! That's bananas. So we only need 78 more notebooks - that's AMAZING! We still need 115 ballpoint pens, 26 rulers, 27 pencil sharpeners, AND NO MORE ERASERS. Haha! We are apparently great at making mistakes and the fixing them. It's grace in a pencilcase! 😂

My friend (pastor and mom) writes some of the daily prayers for kids on this app, and I use with with my kiddos. Its a lovely resource, right on your phone! Change of date: The St Peter's Women of the Church Bible study will begin its new year on Monday. Oct 5, 6:00 at St Peter's. Due to scheduling conflicts, we won't be meeting in Sept as earlier planned. In October we are excited to be starting the Way of Love bible study from the Northwestern Ohio Synod. Any woman can join us and we hope you do! See you in October.
