LWR Schoolkit update! As of Thursday, we have collected enough supplies to fill 100+ school kits. Thank you soooo much!

LWR Schoolkit update! We received 175 notebooks this week!! That's bananas. So we only need 78 more notebooks - that's AMAZING! We still need 115 ballpoint pens, 26 rulers, 27 pencil sharpeners, AND NO MORE ERASERS. Haha! We are apparently great at making mistakes and the fixing them. It's grace in a pencilcase! 😂

Hey parents and grandparents of little ones (and not so little ones). If you would like a daily prayer to pray with the kids in your life, this is a great resource. My friend (pastor and mom) writes some of the daily prayers for kids on this app, and I use with with my kiddos. Its a lovely resource, right on your phone! If you're interested, it's a free download. 🙏🙏🙏

Change of date: The St Peter's Women of the Church Bible study will begin its new year on Monday. Oct 5, 6:00 at St Peter's. Due to scheduling conflicts, we won't be meeting in Sept as earlier planned. In October we are excited to be starting the Way of Love bible study from the Northwestern Ohio Synod. Any woman can join us and we hope you do! See you in October.

We are pleased to offer a new class this fall for those interested in learning more about the Lutheran faith and are considering church membership. The class is also open to current members interested in a "refresher" on the basics of the faith. [FYI: A member of our congregations technically is someone who has communed and made a financial offering in the last year.] We will meet on Sunday September 27th from 1pm – 4pm at Trinity in Wieblen Hall. Please sign up or let Pastor Gretchen know you are interested in attending. Also please indicate if you would like childcare for that time.

Yay for socks!

Save the date! On October 4th, we will be assembling our Lutheran World Relief school kits, collecting socks for Sanctuary Homeless Shelter , and eating Bavarian Pretzels and enjoying root b**r after worship at Trinity! All ages welcomed and invited.
