📖 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟐𝟏:𝟏-𝟕

Psalm 20 showed us David before the battle.

Psalm 21 reveals David after the victory.

But the focus is not the king's power, his army, or his accomplishments.

The focus is the God who gave the victory.

When David looked back over the blessings, protection, and success God had given him, he recognized that every good thing came from the hand of the Lord.

How easy it is to celebrate the blessing and forget the Blesser.

Life is full of battles.

Some are physical. Some are emotional. Some are spiritual. Some are battles no one else can see.

Before David ever stepped onto the battlefield, God's people lifted their voices in prayer. They understood that victory would not come through military strength, superior numbers, or human wisdom. Their confidence rested in the Lord.

Every believer wants to be part of a healthy church, but what does a healthy church actually look like according to Scripture?

Over the next several weeks, we'll take an honest look at God's design for His church. Together we'll examine biblical leadership, church priorities, spiritual growth, ministry, outreach, discipleship, and the responsibilities each believer has within the body of Christ.

This series is not about comparing ourselves to other churches. It is about opening God's Word and asking:

One of the greatest dangers for a believer is becoming content to simply stand still.

As Jude closes his letter, he gives the church a challenge that reaches beyond defending the faith. He calls us to show compassion to those who are weak, pursue those who have wandered, and point them to the only One who is able to keep them from falling.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived on the sidelines. There are souls to reach, believers to strengthen, and a Savior worthy of our praise.

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy…”
Jude 24
