Food Pantry distribution is this Thursday in EDNA!!!
Crosstimbers Food Pantry will be this Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 2PM-6PM. Doors will open at 1:30pm.

If you have not updated your info yet, please bring your ID and proof of address.

The pantry covers all of the cities and rural areas Labette County; Edna, Valeda, Angola, Mound Valley, Altamont, Labette City, Montana, Dennis, Oswego, Chetopa, and Bartlett.

There are NO INCOME GUIDELINES to attend the pantry. If this is your FIRST time, please bring and ID and something like a utility bill to prove your address.

We are saddened at the passing of our faithful food pantry volunteer “the meat guy” Jerry Winters.
He was a faithful volunteer that always showed up even at the craziest requests. His sense of humor kept you on your toes as there may be a prank lurking in those comments. ❤️
We will miss his selflessness and ability to adapt on our busiest of pantry days. His heart was serving others.

We will dedicate and honor this months pantry in his memory.
Memorials can be dropped off at the funeral home. (See obituary for details).

Oh the rain! If you did not get out due to the weather today to come to the food pantry, we will be open this Monday, June 22, 2026 from 1-3pm. Just come to the back and we will get you through.

We also had an abundance of bread again. Anyone can stop by and get some bread.
