How has someone's hospitality changed your life? Join us Sunday as we explore Jesus' invitation to radical welcome.

As Pride Month comes to a close, we're reflecting on Jesus' words:
"Whoever welcomes you welcomes me." (Matthew 10)

Welcome is more than a friendly greeting at the door. It's about creating spaces where people are seen, valued, and reminded that they belong.

Think about a time when someone extended unexpected kindness or hospitality to you. How did it change you? This Sunday, we'll explore how even the simplest acts (like a a listening ear, an open heart, even a cup of cold water), can become powerful expressions of God's love.

Come hear to explore this thing called "Radical Welcome" on Sunday morning at 10am

🌈 Pride Weekend Shenanigans πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Edmonds Lutheran Church (ELCA, RIC) is excited and ✨ proud ✨ to be part of our local and greater Pride Activities

πŸ’š Visit our Pride Booth! (Edmonds Pride Fest) from 2pm-6pm
Stop by to say hello, get your face painted, tie a ribbon prayer, enjoy a complimentary drink from Annie's Kitchen (while supplies last!), and learn about the ways we're building a more connected and compassionate community throughout the year.

πŸŽ‰ March with Us in the Seattle Pride Parade! (11:30am-3:30p)
On Sunday, we'll join congregations from across our synod as we walk together in celebration, solidarity, and hope. Our presence is a visible reminder that affirming churches exist, and that God's love is for everyone.

For some, seeing a church at Pride is a joyful surprise. For others, it can be a moment of healing and sign that there are faith communities where LGBTQIA+ people are fully welcomed, celebrated, and invited to belong.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we believe that every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and love.

Whether you stop by our booth, march alongside us, or simply wave from the crowd, we're grateful to celebrate a community where everyone belongs.

Happy Pride! πŸŒˆπŸ’œ

Take Jesus with you this Summer! This summer, Edmonds Lutheran Church invites congregants and community members to bring a little Jesus along on your adventures!

Faith isn't just practiced on Sunday mornings, we carry faith and hope with us wherever we go! This simple activity is a playful reminder that Jesus accompanies us in our joys, adventures, ordinary moments, and acts of service.

Pick up a mini Jesus figure from church this Sunday 6/28, and take him with you wherever summer leads! On a hike, to the beach, on vacation, in your garden, at a family gathering, or even just on your daily walk around the neighborhood.

Snap a photo of your mini Jesus out and about and send it in!

We'll share photos throughout the summer as a fun way to stay connected and see where God is showing up in our daily lives.

πŸ“§ Email your photos to: "[email protected]"

πŸ“² Or send them in a direct message or comments here on socials

We can't wait to see where Jesus travels this summer! βœοΈπŸ™Œ

Welcome to Worship!

06/21/2026

Happy Father’s Day to all who nurture, guide, protect, encourage, and love.

Today we give thanks for fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and all those who have shared wisdom, strength, and care along the way.

We also hold space for those who are missing a father, grieving a loss, navigating difficult relationships, longing to become a parent, or carrying mixed emotions today.

May God’s love surround you wherever this day finds you, and may we continue to reflect that love in the lives of others.

Happy Father’s Day. πŸ’™

Something exciting is coming to your Edmonds neighborhood this summer! πŸ“’ Save The Date! Summer Block Party at ELC - Open To All Community Members πŸŒ»β˜€οΈπŸ‹β€πŸŸ©

Edmonds Lutheran Church/ Annie's Kitchen along with our local ESD school volunteers from Chase Lake, Madrona, and Edmonds Woodway, are hosting a Community Block Party with fun for the whole family.

We're imagining a day where families can enjoy snacks and lawn games, kids can play and create, neighbors can meet one another, and community members can access clothing, household goods, pantry items, and other resources in a welcoming and fun space.

At its best, community is people showing up for one another. This event is about building connections, sharing what we have, and creating a neighborhood where everyone belongs.

If you have any questions, or want to get involved by donating or volunteering, please reach out to: Mika at "[email protected]"
