Our 2nd annual College & Young Adult Pickleball Tournament was the place to be on Labor Day! The Oklahoma Christian pickleball courts stayed busy as 36 teams competed in more than 60 matches, with plenty of friends and family showing up to cheer them on. Between some fierce competition and a lot of laughter, it was a great day spent together.

And all that fun had a purpose beyond the court. Every dollar raised at the concession stand went directly to support missions. It’s a great reminder that Living Sent can happen in all kinds of ways, even at a pickleball tournament. We’re grateful for everyone who played, served, cheered, and helped make the day count for something bigger.

You don’t have to cross an ocean to reach the nations.

Last Friday, students from countries around the world gathered at the College House for our International Welcome Luau. There was plenty of laughter over limbo and hula hoop contests, but something much more meaningful was happening too. For some of these students, it was one of their first opportunities to spend time with Americans and begin building friendships here.

God has brought the nations to our community, giving us an incredible opportunity to welcome international students, build genuine relationships, and share the hope of Jesus along the way.

And there’s a place for you in it. We’re looking for adults who would be willing to spend time with international students, whether that means joining us once a month, helping lead a discovery Bible study, or simply being a consistent and welcoming presence.
