Latter-day Saint Student Association - LDSSA

Latter-day Saint Student Association - LDSSA The Latter-day Saint Student Association is our religious organization here on UCO campus! We enrich spiritual lives by providing Sunday Church services.

We are a Christian organization meant to enrich the spiritual, social and intellectual aspects of UCO students and their friends. We also boost social opportunities by hosting cookouts, sports nights, game nights as well as many other activities. We enhance intellectual, as well as spiritual experiences by providing New Testament Discussion Groups, free Institute of Religion classes, and one on on

e lessons with our missionaries. We meet for Sunday services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building at 1315 E 33rd St @ 1:30pm. Our institute classes are held at 7:00 p.m. in room 320C of the Nigh Center. We also have a weekly FHE activity every Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the same Edmond building on 33rd street! We canโ€™t wait to see you all there!

What is so good about Good Friday?
Nothing about the situation...
But everything about Jesus in that situation.

When the world was at its worst, Christ was at his best.

He created good from evil.
He created Hope from despair.
He created life from death.

He still does.

โ€œEach of us will have our own Fridaysโ€”those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. [...]

โ€œBut I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered deathโ€”Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. [...] In this life or the next, Sunday will come.โ€ (Joseph Wirthlin)
Maybe you are in a state of โ€œFridayโ€ right now.
But it can be made โ€œgoodโ€ too. Not because the situation is good, but because Christ is good in the situation.

He overcame death. And He will help you overcome this.

Sunday will come.
