Join us in 6 days for our Fall Kick-Off!

This Sunday we begin a new sermon series teaching through 1 Corinthians. The way of Jesus is THE BETTER WAY. For the next eight weeks we will journey through Paul's first letter to the Corinthians as we discover what THE BETTER WAY of Jesus looks like when lived out among real people in real places facing real challenges.

After worship we'll have:
-Hamburgers & Hot Dogs in the Activity Center
-Water Inflatables (Make sure to bring water clothes!!)

Next week is our big Fall Kick-Off!Worship @ 8:30 & 11am, Sunday School @ 9:45am, lunch and lots of fun from 11am-1:30pm...

Be sure to join us for an OWLS Fall Luncheon, "100 Years of Route 66," on September 10 at 11:30 am in the Chapel!

This is a great way to enjoy a meal and entertainment with other seniors who attend New Cov! Lunch will be Cadillac Ranch Stew, Mother Road Vegetable Soup, Arcadia Round Barn Cornbread, Will Rogers Fruit Salad, Poppy Seed Salad, and Woody Guthrie Apple Dumplings for dessert. We'll also have violinist Kyle Dillingham as our entertainment! Kyle is a Grand Ole Opry Guest Artist and a proud member of the Country Music Association.

Cost for the event is $15. Register by Sunday!

Fall Kick-Off is 9 days away! Have you been praying about who you will invite to come with you to church on September 13th? We are asking everyone to come to church expecting to meet someone new, so it’s an easy Sunday to show up for the first time!

We will begin the our series on 1 Corinthians and living The Better Way at 8:30 & 11am, have Sunday School for kids, students, and adults at 9:45am (with two brand new Sunday School classes for adults), and then enjoy lunch and hang out in community from 11am-1:45pm!

Come away for a few days to be in community, rest, and learn how the Fruit of the Spirit plays out in your everyday life. We will have ladies share their stories and allow you time to sit with the Holy Spirit and see how these fruits play out in your life in Christ.
