Proverbs states “Zeal without wisdom is not good; A man in a hurry misses the way” - No matter what your view is, it’s been a historic few days in our nation. As a pastor, the responsibility is to lead though such moments, not ignore them & hope they go away. People follow a spiritual leader for their wisdom, not their ability to dodge the tough days. In the same regard, it’s a pastor’s responsibility to play above the emotional rhetoric, speak to Biblical truths that bring peace & hope, & offer practical solutions that bring about the love of Christ, leading to life abundantly.
On top of a historic week nationally, stirring craziness, etc, this coming week is an emotional one for me to walk through personally. And to say, “it’s not effecting my emotions”, would be disinformation at its best.
Due to those things combined, we have chosen to go miles above the emotional rhetoric, postpone this morning until tonight, & all go see “Top Gun” at Showbiz theaters at 7.
It’s a “must see”, “pro-American”, unifying message every person in our nation should experience right now. Plus, when things get crazy, it’s best to pull away, have fun, then lead with freshness.

What a perfect day…. To join Facebook live around 10:45, as we take a glimpse at “Staring Down the Walls” in our lives. If you’re feeling a little crazy, join us in person at 10:30, but my money is on streaming, pajama’s, & watching the storms pass through. Either way, it will be a life altering, type of day.
