Canaan UMC will not be meeting for worship this Sunday (3/15) or next Sunday (3/22). I do not make this decision lightly. Having received email from the bishop, phone from the DS and hearing from our local authorities, we will be working to keep everyone healthy in this way. We are currently planning to have service Sunday March 29. I will be typing up a sermon that I will email tonight and I will have some copies printed to be picked up at Canaans door if anyone wants one.

Please feel free to join us this morning at 11:15a.m. as we celebrate the first Sunday in Lent🌿. Communion🍞🍷will be given and Pastor James Lance will bring the message; "It Is Finished" from the Scriptures📖of Exodus 39: 32-43 and John 19: 28-30.

Hello everyone, Canaan UMC is hosting an Easter Flower Fundraiser. We are selling Lily's, Hyacinths in both pink and blue, and also Tulips in red, yellow and lavender. The cost of each plant is $12 ($3 of this will be donated to the church). I am taking just the flower orders now & will collect the money by April 2nd. Please leave your comment here as too how many you might want/need or if you have my cell number, please text me your order. The church members & I thank you all in advance for any order placed.

Canaan UMC's Hollywood themed "Mother/Daughter Banquet" held Sunday May 3rd at our very own Fellowship Hall. The beginning decoration pics all the way thru the day of the banquet. What a wonderful, blessed day we had. I would like to thank all the mothers and daughters/grandkids for coming!
