What makes an ordinary Christian an effective evangelist? Tomorrow we continue in our series on The Unstoppable Church in the book of Acts with “The First Evangelist” - Acts 8:1-40. Through the life of Philip, we will discover 3 qualities God uses to spread the gospel: Invincibility, Humility, and Clarity. God doesn’t just use those who are specifically called to the gospel ministry, but He uses ordinary Christians to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ. Stephen faced false accusations, fierce opposition, and death, but he never backed down. He stood for Christ with courage, spoke the truth with grace, forgave his persecutors, and trusted God with the outcome.
His example reminds us that faithful witnesses stand boldly for Christ, whatever the cost.
