We are pleased to announce Pastor Jason Hyer from Edinburgh Methodist Church as the new Chaplain for the Edinburgh Fire Department.

Pastor Hyer will serve as a source of support, guidance, and encouragement for our dedicated Firefighters and Paramedics as they continue serving our community.

Please join us in welcoming Pastor Hyer to the department and thanking him for stepping into this important role. 🚒🙏

Our apologies, but our Thursday evening community service is canceled for this evening due to a personal illness. We should resume next week, good Lord willing and the creeks don’t rise!

You and your families are welcome to join us for our community worship service tonight at 7 PM. We have a very safe basement if the good Lord sends inclement weather our way! (There is no safer place for a redeemed sinner! 😉)

For the most part, our steps have been cleared of snow if you’d like to join us for an evening of community worship. We open our doors at 6:30 PM for all true believers to come together in unity, leaving our differences at the door!

01/24/2026

Just as a reminder, our church will be open tomorrow morning (1/25) despite the snow and cold. If you would like to join us throw on your snow boots and warmest coat and get here by 10AM! God bless you!

As the One who created, sustains, and holds together EVERYTHING from the smallest neutron to the furthest spec of dust in the entire universe, how can those who know and have faith in this truth about Jesus let even the gates of hell try to prevent us from worshipping Him?

Join us tonight to hear preaching on these verses… despite it being cold outside… or fear of rabid protestors… at 7 PM. Amen.

Colossians 1:15-17

The Preeminence of Christ

[15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. [16] For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. [17] And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
