This weekend across the country, lives will be touched behind prison walls and hearts will be prepared for service.

We have 7 Kairos Inside Weekends taking place, along with 3 training events equipping future volunteers — all happening at the same time.

Please join us in praying for:
• The volunteers serving faithfully
• Safe travel for every team
• Open hearts, softened spirits, and lasting transformation
• Unity, protection, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in every facility and training room

When this much ministry is happening at once, we know God is moving.

Let’s cover every team, every resident, and every leader in prayer this weekend. 💙✨

I hope you are doing well and staying encouraged. You are warmly invited to join us next Saturday, February 14th, for the 1st Team Formation Training for the upcoming Edinburgh Kairos #17 Weekend.

Edinburgh Kairos #17 – 1st Team Formation Training
Location: Calvary Christian Church

Edinburgh, Indiana 46124
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This training marks the beginning of preparations for the Edinburgh #17 Weekend, April 23–26. We are prayerfully seeking 35–45 volunteers to help host the weekend, and your presence makes all the difference. Please plan to join us for a morning of fellowship, food, and meaningful ministry preparation.

As we are reminded in Kairos: “Be a friend, make a friend, and bring a friend.”
This first training is a great overview of the Kairos Ministry—so if you know someone who is simply curious or wants to learn more, feel free to bring them along.

And since the training falls on Valentine’s Day, you are welcome to bring your significant other. Everyone is invited and will be warmly welcomed.

Thank you for your heart for this ministry. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and beginning this journey together.

Great Kairos #15 weekend 22 new brothers

Miami Correctional Facility hosted 92 Amish and Mennonite volunteers from Christmas Behind Bars (CBB) this past weekend. The volunteers hand assembled and donated 1,600+ care packages to the incarcerated individuals. The care packages included snacks, devotional material, and a toothbrush. While the sacks were distributed in the housing units by staff, the volunteers sang a few uplifting songs and provided a message of hope. Several of the incarcerated expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Christmas Behind Bars!

Christmas Behind Bars began several years ago with a group of Amish volunteers and Lemuel Vega (founder of CBB) as they brought a small gift package of hygiene products to a county jail. Although CBB initially began as an outreach during the Christmas season, CBB has expanded to a ministry that visits prisons 365 days of the year! CBB has an extensive network of volunteers that serve multiple prisons across the Midwest, and they are dedicated to bringing a message of hope and redemption to the incarcerated.
