Meet us at the park ! We will be serving at the concession stand during the demos on Saturday and the rodeo on Sunday. A special collection will be taken to help a local family dealing with cancer. So come out and support one of our own and help Make a Difference in Edinburg. If you would like to volunteer to work a shift, let us know. We could use some man power.

Received a few thank you notes from the school today that I wanted to pass on with my own thank you to all who help to Make A Difference in Edinburg. May God Bless those who invest in our students and their future.

Reminder that tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon The Gold Star Mission will be passing through Edinburg at approximately 1:40. They will stop at the park for a short break as they finish out their 500 mile bike ride to show support for the families who have lost a loved one in combat. Many of the riders are current and former Service Members themselves. Come out and support them and their cause. Hang a flag, wave a flag, wave hello, and cheer them on. Line the streets and line the park.

I wanted to take a moment and give a big thank you to all those that MADE the concession stand at the arena for the Edinburg Labor Day Picnic a success. All the volunteers that pitched in and made it possible, the community that came out and supported, and the Park Board that makes it all possible.
For our little slice of the picnic we take pride in giving anything made as proceeds back to the community. Our whole goal is to find ways to Make A Difference in Edinburg. This year's proceeds have already begun to empower a few teachers at the school to be creative in keeping learning exciting for their students. I wanted to share these teachers thank you messages with my own thank you to all who help to Make A Difference in Edinburg.

M.A D.E. is down a couple volunteers for tonight due to an overnight hospital visit. Please keep the healing and support in your prayers, and the rest of the crew could use a few prayers for a hungry but patient and understanding crowd at the arena concession stand tonight. We look forward to bringing quality food that also raises some money to help Make A Difference in Edinburg. Funds raised will go to help fund a few projects at the Edinburg School. Get out there and enjoy the Edinburg Labor Day Picnic.

5 days until the Edinburg Labor Day Picnic!!! Come out and see us Saturday at the Demo Derby and Sunday at the Rodeo. This is our biggest fundraiser!! 100% of funds go back into the community.

Big thank you to the Edinburg Fire Department, Edinburg Police Department, and the various Church and community volunteers for another successful Community Easter Egg Hunt. Thank you to the Park Board for allowing us to use the space. Had a great turnout and plenty of eggs for everyone. Some special egg stuffers were provided by McDonalds, Dairy Queen, and Wendy's of Taylorville.
