Kickoff Sunday is THIS SUNDAY, September 13, and the entire Cross View family will come together as ONE for a special congregational-wide worship service at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary.

Following worship, we’ll look ahead to the vision and opportunities God has in store for our year in ministry. Then we’ll continue the celebration with a catered meal in the Great Commission Room, followed by a bounce house, obstacle course, yard games, and fun for all ages.

Come ready to worship together, eat together, connect together, and have fun together. Dress for outdoor activities, bring your favorite yard games, and join your Cross View family as we kick off another exciting year of mission and ministry.

Beginning September 11, Cross View’s Friday Morning Men’s Bible Study will begin a new 8–10 week study on Apologetics—the defense of the Christian faith. Using Lee Strobel’s "A Case for Faith" as a foundation, the group will explore how Christians can strengthen their faith and become better equipped to explain and share what they believe.

Men are invited to join the group on Fridays from 7:00–8:00 AM at Chick-fil-A in Eden Prairie.

Community Light School of Discipleship begins its sixth year this fall with a new study, “Genesis 12–50: From Abraham to Joseph,” led by Dr. Reed Lessing. Together, participants will explore these foundational stories of Scripture and discover how they continue to speak into our lives and families today.

This series (offered both on-site and via streaming) begins Wednesday, September 16. Then, in spring 2027, Rev. Dean Nadasdy returns to lead “Christians and Their Culture,” exploring what it means to live faithfully as Christians in the world around us.

Cross View ECC’s school-age children wrapped up their summer field trips with a morning of fun at Pump It Up of Eden Prairie! From inflatables and obstacle courses to arcade games, dodgeball, and some spirited kids-vs.-staff air hockey, there were plenty of smiles and friendly competition.

The ECC staff was especially proud of the kindness and respect the children showed throughout the trip. What a fantastic way to celebrate a summer filled with fun, friendship, and memorable adventures!

In September, Cross View's Choir, Handbell Ensemble, and Women's Ensemble will be back in full swing, sharing their music for our weekly Sunday 8:15 am worship and festival day services. Singers and bell players high school age and up are invited to participate. Wednesday rehearsals for Handbells (5:30 – 6:30 pm) and Choir (6:45 – 8:15 pm) begin on September 9. During the summer, students in our Early Childhood Center School-Age Program have been leading chapel and helping other classes lead chapel by reading from the Bible and leading music. VBS songs are always a favorite choice! Their joyful leadership is a great example of how every part of our Cross View community matters!
