At the shrimp feast this past Saturday, Knights of Columbus Council 6188 Grand Knight John Dittus presented a $10,000 check for the Community Center Building Program at St Stephen Church at the Annual Shrimp and Bull Roast held at St Stephen on April 11, 2026.

We had a great Basketball Free-throw competition today with the 5th-8th graders at St. Stephen School. Thanks to all 8 Knights and one Knight’s daughter who turned out to support the event! Congratulations to all the winners!

Each quarter, Corpus Christi Council hosts a Senior Luncheon for our senior members, spouses, widows, guests and parish staff. Our latest was on January 15th with about 20 of our “regulars” in attendance. A good time was had by all!

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, Robert Bartolomucci.

services at Shiminek’s Funeral Home on McPhail Road on Monday the 29th from 5-9, and a Funeral Mass on Tuesday the 30th at the Church of the Holy Spirit at 10:30 am

Last evening a dignified transfer of his remains was conducted at the Perry Point VA facility under the supervision of Father Jonathan Morse and Robert Hickey along with the staff of Perry Point Hospice and the Perry Point VA Fire Department. Before transferring to Hospice, he made the decision to donate his body to science - this unselfish act sums up Roberts life and is a testament to his character. Robert was many things; a veteran, a teacher, a mentor a friend to many. He was a very private person and in these past few weeks several of us came to know Robert on a very personal level. Some of his life's accomplishments were truly remarkable. We will share these stories at a memorial service once those details are finalized. In the mean time, we ask that you hold Robert and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
