We are sorry to inform everyone that the North Hill Cafe program scheduled for this Friday, September 26, is being CANCELLED. Due to illness within the group LOBAN, they will be unable to perform as scheduled. We will be looking to reschedule them at another program this season. The North Hill Cafe program is excited to announce that Bernie Osborne will be opening the Cafe program this Friday, September 26. Bernie is a gifted musician who plays a variety of instruments - trumpet, keyboard, bass, drums, and percussion. And he has a unique vocal sound to add to his repertoire.

For this Cafe, Bernie will be playing trumpet and singing several of his favorite songs. Bernie is a regular musician at many North Hill worship events and always adds a special touch to any program.

Bernie will be joining the trio of LOBAN for this month's Cafe program. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a light supper and the music begins at 7:00 pm. Admission is free and the Cafe program is open to eveyone.

Bring a friend or two and come experience great food, fellowship, and live Christian music at a North Hill Cafe program.

The North Hill Cafe pogram returns for the 2025-26 season on Friday, September 26.

Our featured artist wil be the trio called LOBAN. This group features Ashley Durant on keyboard/vocals, Brittney Holt on vocals, and Anil Prasad on the tabla. Their music is a mixture of Christan blues, soul, and Indian percussion.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for a light supper and the music begins at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy an evening of great Christian music, food, and fellowship. Admission is free.

The North Hill Cafe program is sponsored by the North Hill Adventist Fellowship church and is located at 10106 36th Street East in Edgewood WA 98371.

The last North Hill Cafe program for the 2024-25 season will be held on Friday, May 30th.

We will be welcoming Terry Enyeart and the Steelhead Bluegrass Band for a special Gospel concert. This contemporary bluegrass band from Kitsap County shares their favorite Gospel music that features energetic picking, strong vocals and harmonies, and great foot tapping music.

This group played at our Outdoor Program last summer but their set was cut short due to the bad weather that moved in.

As usual, the doors will open at 6:30 pm for a light supper, the music begins at 7:00 pm, and admission is free.

The North Hill Cafe welcomes singer, songwriter, and musician Dave Irish to the next North Hil Cafe program this Friday, March 28.

Dave Irish has been recording and sharing his music to churches throughout the N.W. for the past 30years. He has 12 CDs to his credit and plans on releasing an EP in the next year. His music ministry got started after getting the opportunity to share a couple of his songs at the 1995 Promise Keepers event at the Kingdome. Dave is married with 2 daughters and 6 grandkids.

Dave previously played at the Cafe back in 2012 and is excited to be returning for another show.

As usual, we will open the doors at 6:30 pm for a light supper, the music will start at 7:00 pm and admission is free. Please be sure to invite your friends to come and enjoy a special evening of live Christian music and fellowship.

Greetings from the North Hill church. We are just over a week away from our next North Hill Cafe program and I am very excited to announce that we have a new artist presenting music for this program.

Our featured artist will be "Shore Lane".

Shore Lane is a married acoustic duo comprised of Shane and Lauren Welter. Currently based in Federal Way, WA, their journey began in the Milwaukee, WI area where they grew up singing in choir and leading music in their high school's worship team. It was during this time Shane and Lauren fell in love and formed their duo called, "Shore Lane," with the purpose to create and share their music at local businesses, restaurants, and churches. They attended and graduated from Concordia University Irvine in CA where they received their Bachelor of Arts in Music. Then, the high school sweetheart's two voices became one song as they married in the summer of 2021.

Shane and Lauren's mission as Shore Lane is to inspire joy through music. With their passion in the arts and their foundation in Christ, Shore Lane seeks to uplift every listener's day through lyric, melody, and harmony.

Shore Lane has performed in a variety of states, countries, and venues. Highlights include: The Washington State Fair, The House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, the Christian Music Summit 2025, and a music tour through England, Scotland, and Ireland. Shane and Lauren look forward to where God will bring them next.

The Next North Hill Cafe program is this Friday, January 31.

Our featured is Masha Washington & Friends. Many of you probably know Masha. She is a wonderful violinist who often plays on our praise teams here at North Hill as well as playing at our outdoor program every summer. She has also supported other musicians here at the Cafe program over the years.

Born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia, Masha immigrated with her parents and grandparents to the United States at the age of 16. She attended Auburn Adventist Academy - where she gave her life to Christ. She graduated from PLU ( after 3 years at Walla Walla College) with a degree in Computer Science / Mathematics. She has spent 28 years in the IT field here at a northwest company, is married, and has raised a couple of wonderful children.

After a false start with the violin at the age of 5, Masha voluntarily picked it back up in the 3rd grade and has been playing ever since. She was classically trained until diving into the world of Old Time Fiddle in 2008 and contemporary worship music in 2012. She loves hymn medleys, contemporary worship music, and of course the "classical" classics. Masha regularly plays with various worship teams at various Puget Sound area churches.

One of the highlights of her career was the opportunity to play with world renowned violinist Jamie Jorge when he played for a North Hill Cafe program two years ago.

Masha will be joined a number of her friends for this Cafe as she shares a variety of her favorite music.

I hope you can join us this Friday evening, January 31st at 7:00 pm for this program. As always, we will serve a light supper at 6:30 pm and admission is free. Be sure to invite your friends to join you for a wonderful evening of live Christian music.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. We are just a few days away from another Christmas day and a time to remember the birth of a special baby - the Son of God who came to this world, to show us how much God loves each one of us.

We are also just a week away from the December North Hill Cafe program. It will be held on Friday, December 27 at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for a special Christmas supper.

Opening the program will be Melynda Bly - an award-winning singer-songwriter-worship leader from Seattle. Her heart is to love and help others to come to know Jesus as they grow in their faith. Melynda plays guitar and keyboard and has released three single songs, one of which earned her the WVIU Music Award for "Contemporary Artist On The Rise." She is very excited to share her music for the first time at the North Hill Cafe.

We will then have the return of the “Nativity Story By Candlelight” program. Presented by Kathy Jo Kahn & Friends, this interactive program narrates the events of Christ’s birth through music and story. This is a special presentation that really celebrates the "Reason for the Season."

I hope that you will make this year's Christmas North Hill Cafe program a part of your holiday activities. Admission continues to be free and will be a great program for family and friends.

Just wanted to remind everyone of our North Hill Cafe program this Friday, November 29, featuring the group Keepers Of The Faith and their unique blend of Southern & traditional Gospel music with some South Sea Island flavor mixed in.

The North Hill Cafe welcomes Keepers Of The Faith (KOTF) to our next program on Friday, November 29. KOTF has spent 26 years travelling throughout the United States, Canada, and the South Pacific sharing the Good News through their unique blend of traditional Southern Gospel and country Gospel, but with some Island flavor thrown in. Their ministry has reach around the world, inspiring and winning countless souls with their music and preaching the Word of God.
