If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to join our family of faith. You may join our church in any of the following ways:

If You Are Not Yet a Christian:
We would be happy to speak to you personally about how you can place your faith in Jesus Christ. If you are already a Christian, but have not been baptized:
You may join our church by believer’s

baptism. Baptism is a beautiful experience of publicly professing your faith in Jesus Christ. We will be glad to visit with you about scheduling your Christian baptism! If you are already a member of another church:
You may join our church by simply requesting that we write a letter to your current church informing them of your decision to join First Baptist of Edgewood. If you have already been baptized by immersion, after you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you will not need to be baptized again. If you are a member of a church that does not practice scriptural baptism of conversion, we will be glad to talk to you about baptism! At the conclusion of each worship service, our pastor will extend an invitation. You may come to the front of the auditorium and speak with him or one of our encouragers about joining our church. New members are then presented to our congregation. If you have further questions about joining our church, please call 903-896-4385. We are always happy to talk to you about becoming a part of the family called First Baptist Edgewood.

We are so excited about VBS 2026, and we can’t wait to see you for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are still in the dark about who He really is. Some may see Jesus as simply a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher-- but He is so much more. Come to VBS this year and let's explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals!
We will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world!
