Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.”

Let our lives speak louder than our words. Let us not be peddlers of God’s word.

In the Roman procession Paul describes, the incense was physically everywhere before the general even spoke. Likewise, your life often provides the context that makes your words either believable or hollow.
