It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of our very own Deacon Robert (“Bob”) Thomson. He served our parish faithfully for over 50 years. He will be missed. Deacon’s Bob’s funeral will be held at the Church of the Holy Rosary on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The Mass will be concelebrated by Father Jose Abalon, Father George Ruane and Father Jerold Grieves.

May Deacon Bob rest in peace. 🙏

Ascension Thursday is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation in the Archdiocese of Newark. The Feast of the Ascension is instead celebrated at the weekend Masses on May 16 & 17. God bless.

We have Adoration at the Church of the Holy Rosary every Monday from Noon to 2pm, Wednesdays from Noon to 3pm, and Fridays from Noon to 3pm. All are welcome to spend time with our Lord.

Congratulations to Father Jose Amante Abalon on his 25th Anniversary of Ordination as a Priest! Join us for a special “Pot Luck” on Sunday, May 24th in the Church Hall (56 Edgewater Place) to celebrate Fr. Jose’s great milestone. The event begins at 1:30 PM and ends at 4:30 PM. All are welcome.

Sunday, March 29th, is Palm Sunday. There will be Processions of the Palm prior to the 11am Mass and the 12:30pm Mass. Those wishing to participate in one of the Processions, please meet in the church parking lot AT LEAST 15 minutes before the scheduled Mass. The Procession will begin in the parking lot, proceed to Hillard Avenue, turn left on Hillard Avenue, followed by another left on Undercliff Avenue to the front entrance of the church. All are welcomed and encouraged to join

ASH WEDNESDAY
February 18th is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. See the Lenten observances on our website. Ashes will be distributed after the 8:00AM and 7:30PM masses. There will also be a Liturgy of the Word, Holy Communion, and Ashes at 3:30pm.
