Join us this Sunday as Rev. Nancy continues our Unity: Back to Basics Series with a loving look at our next four spiritual powers: Power, Imagination, Understanding and Will.

10:00 Wednesday Study Group: This week will conclude the reading and discussion of They Walked with Jesus. The group will then take a two week sabbatical while Rev. Nancy is away. Therefore there will be a meeting on the 11th and then not again, until Oct. 2nd. At that time the next book, The Awakened Way, Making a Shift to a Divinely Guided Life by Suzanne Giesemann, will be started. It is available on Amazon if you are interested.

5:00 Thursday Discussion Group of A Search for God: There was a very interesting discussion and interchange of Lesson 3. One meaningful quote from the reading was: “When in our relationship to our fellow man we are so perfected in the Christ Consciousness that each word, thought, and deed bring blessings to those we contact, then we may be sure that our ideal is the true one.”

Please remember The Gifts of Love Basket and the need for non-perishable items.

Rev. Nancy says, "One of Unity’s core beliefs, along with the Five Principles, is the Twelve Powers. Unity co-founder, Charles Fillmore, created the 12 Powers system and detailed it in his book The Twelve Powers of Man, published in 1930. With this in mind, join us on Sunday as we begin a Unity 101: Back to Basics series."
Over the next several weeks we will revisit Unity’s Five Basic Principles and take a refreshing look into the Twelve Powers.
Rev. Nancy’s lesson will be: "Rev Up Your Spirit with the Twelve Powers.”

10:00 Wednesday Study Group: The next session will begin with Chapter 10 of They Walked with Jesus. Even though the group is getting close to the end of the book, you are welcome to stop in to see what it is all about.

5:00 - 6:00 Thursday Discussion Group: The second lesson of A Search for God, "Know Thyself,” was followed by the following: “Father, as we seek to see and know Thy face, may we each come to know ourselves, even as we are known, that we - as lights in Thee - may give the better concept of Thy Spirit in this world.”
Feel free to check out this group also for lots of food for thought.

Join us on Sunday as Rev. Nancy leads us in a time of reflection on the words of the apostle Paul as recorded in 1Corinthians 13:12. “For now we see through a glass darkly, but, then face to face: now I know in part, but then shall I know fully even as also I am known.”
You’ll enjoy this enlightening interpretation.

10:00 Wednesday Study Group: Reading They Walked with Jesus to p.132 has inspired great discussions and has reenforced Unity’s teachings as well. We get it!

5:00 Thursday Discussion of Search for God: Reading this book by yourself would certainly be valuable. However, it is best when read by a group for further understanding and insight from sharing. The affirmation that went with the first lesson on “Cooperation” was: “Not my will but Thine, O Lord, be done in me and through me. Let me ever be a channel of blessings, today, now, to those that I contact in every way. Let my going in, my coming out be in accord with that Thou would have me do, and as the call comes, ‘Here am I, send me, use me.” All are welcome!

The Search for God discussion group, led by our own knowledgable Frazier Scott, will be held on Thursday evenings from 5-6pm. This book is based on the works of Edgar Cayce and published by ARE, Association for Research Enlightenment. The first meeting will be tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 22nd). All are welcome!
