Edgerton United Methodist Church was established in 1854 and we're blessed to still be here today sharing God's Word, supporting our community, and spreading the joy we have in our faith and in being God's children.

Ruth Barrette, a former member, passed this winter. Her Celebration of Life will take place May 30 at Cargill.

Ruth Adele Barrette died on February 3, 2026 at Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Cargill UMC. Visitation will take place from 10 - 11am with the memorial service beginning at 11am in the sanctuary.
