Ain’t no foolin…March Madness turns into an exciting week for our choir starting tomorrow:
Wednesday, April 1-Adult Choir rehearsal at 7 pm;

Thursday, April 2-Choir performance at Maundy Thursday Service at 7 pm (call at 6:30);

Sunday, April 5-Easter Sunrise performance at 6:30 am (call at 6 am)

We’re looking for an experienced flute player to accompany our Adult Choir anthem on Sunday, March 15th. The piece is a Joel Ramey setting of “I Shall Not Want.” We would have a 9 am run through for the performance at the 9:30 service and 20 minutes of rehearsal time at 7:40 on 3/11. Message me if you can help us out!

Hello Central choir! I hope you are all excited for a week full of family and friend celebrations welcoming Christmas! And I hope you can hardly wait to receive your gifts, big and small. Oh, I’m not talking about material gifts. I’m talking about gifts of the heart. I hope you all become a gratitude magnet and experience more joy, love, peace, and happiness.

Just a reminder that we will meet at 2:30 pm in the choir loft prior to our performance at the 3 pm Christmas Eve service on December 24th. We will have a final dress rehearsal run through of both “In the Bleak Midwinter” ( we worked very hard on this in Wednesday’s rehearsal, so bring your “A” game) and In Excelsis Deo!

In the meantime, I encourage you all to take a few moments to take a break from this Christmas chaos we are experiencing…enjoy the lights, decorations, baked goods, and just BREATH. Take a few deep breaths and enjoy the moment. And because you have been working so hard and knocking it out of the ballpark, we will not be having normal choir rehearsals on 12/24 and 12/31! My extra gift to you:) Our next rehearsal will be Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Looking to make some connections?
Have you ever wanted more meaning from your time at church? Wouldn’t it be great to form lasting connections with kind and compassionate friends, all while having FUN? Central has a support group just for YOU!
The Central Lutheran Adult Choir is looking for additional members. Making music together is a fabulous way to get involved in our church community and meet new people. Performing in a music group is therapeutic, fun, and exciting. Volunteering not only gives one a good feeling, but it also lowers blood pressure. Singing in a worship service, and therefore helping lead the worship service, helps us feel the presence of God in the context of worship. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 pm in the Choir Loft/balcony. The Adult Choir performs on the first and third Sundays of each month, from September through May, with additional performances during Lent and on special occasions. Everyone has a voice, so NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! Even if your only experience is lip synching to your favorite Taylor Swift tune or singing in the shower, we are ready to help teach you the skills to be a contributing member. It’s time for this year's first rehearsal of the Central Lutheran Adult Choir! Our first rehearsal will be
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd at 7:00 pm.
Rehearsals will be held every Wednesday evening in the choir loft from 7-8:00 pm and we will perform on the first and third Sundays of every month starting September 21st. Some alterations to the schedule will be made throughout the year for special events, holidays, and such. Our literature for the year is still being selected and as always I promise some traditional choir music, spirituals, and variations on hymn arrangements, as well as some new, exciting, and different selections that will take you out of your box, expose you to some different and perhaps unusual options, and keep stretching the limits of praise though our music.

Do you have all the concert dates on your calendar! Our season kicks off in just over a week with The Jimmys! It's going to be a great show! The Renegade's 4-H Club will be grilling up a delicious meal starting at 5:30 pm. Bring your lawn chair, your appetite, and your dancing shoes!

We are LIVE tomorrow, SUNDAY MAY 25th starting at noon at WET BOTTOMS in beautiful Newville! Come join us for plenty of LIVE music featuring 4 bands, river swimming, 50/50 raffles, food, drinks, boating, and lots of FUN sponsored by the Arts Council of Edgerton. This fabulous fundraiser benefits our scholarship program providing scholarships to graduating seniors and money to help send kids to summer camps in the arts. The weather will be great, so come out and support a great, local cause!
