Here at St Cletus Pastorate, we are also willing to walk you through getting your marriage recognized by the Catholic Church. Please reach out to any of our 3 priests and they will help guide you through the process.

During this Jubilee Year, Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob extends a special invitation to all married couples to bring their marriages into the Catholic Church. Common situations this may apply to:

· Being civilly married (with or without a previous marriage)
· Getting married in the outdoors or other wedding venue*
· A Catholic getting married in a non-Catholic Church*
· Being married by a non-Catholic minister*
*without prior authorization from the Catholic Church

The Catholic Church cares for you and desires you to have all the graces available and to allow you to return to the reception of the sacraments. Talk to your parish priest to learn more.

The First Graders in St Cletus Faith Formation at St Joseph practiced their acts of service to the Church by cleaning the Baptistry last week.

Those cobwebs, dead leaves, and dead bugs didn't stand a chance against this crew of enthusiastic cleaners.

Thank you, Mrs Reed, for leading by example and encouraging them to do regular acts of service.

Lent starts tomorrow. Start with some additional prayer with us tonight at Adoration! 6pm-7pm at St Joseph

As we prepare to begin Lent tomorrow, a reminder that Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat. Anyone from age 18 until age 59 is required to limit themselves to one main meal and two smaller meals (that together do not equal one full meal). Anyone age 14 and up is required to abstain from meat. Pregnant or nursing women and those who are ill are exempt but asked to make a different sacrifice.
