Qavah Hebrew for wait-
Qavah- Rooted in the literal meaning of "binding" or "twisting together" (like weaving strands into a strong rope), waiting on God means intertwining your life with His. WAIT: qavah. Verb. (Strong’s 6960).Root: קָוָה

the word is waited. The idea was they waited for God’s plan to go into action The waters waited and they were rewarded with a purpose. Waiting for a purpose the waiting brings the purpose
