Our boy Alex is ordained!

Join us at Sacred Heart Parish in Eden at 10:30am on 5/31/26 for FATHER Alex Leschisin's First Sunday Mass as a priest of God! There will be a dinner following in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall! Thanks be to God for Father Leschisin!

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sacred Heart parishioners, Mary Susan Jaspers. Pray too, for those left to mourn her loss, especially her husband, John.

Visitation will be Monday, June 1st from 5pm to 7pm with a 7pm Liturgical Wake Service. Her funeral Mass will be June 2nd at 10:30am. Eternal Rest grant unto MarySusan, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. May Sue's soul and the souls of all the Faithful Departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen!

Deacon Leschisin will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Friday, May 29th, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Sioux Falls. A charter bus will be going down and there is still room! (Bus in Eden 6:30, Webster 7:30, arrive at Cathedral around 10am). Reach out to our Director of Discipleship and Evangelization to sign up.

Our own Alex Leschisin, upon ordination to the Sacred and Holy Priesthood, will be named the Parochial Vicar of the Divine Mercy Pastorate in the Sioux Falls area.

Continue to pray for Alex as he approaches his ordination!

We are excited to announce that Deacon Alex Leschisin, who is to be ordained to the priesthood this May, will be our new Parochial Vicar at Divine Mercy Pastorate! He will join Fr. Rutten and Fr. Doty the first week of July! Welcome him in the comments below!!
