There's a different walk for the believer. Walking in the Spirit is setting my mind on things above, listening to the chastening of the Lord, renewing my mind to align with the Word, and walking it out so that my joy may be full!

We have a choice!

Our flesh wants to control us, but we have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. We choose to let the Holy Spirit overrule our flesh so that we can walk in the peace and power of God.

Romans 8: 5
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”

If Jesus has the appropriate place in our lives, it will be evident to those around us. Our confession of Him has the power to turn the hearts and minds of others to Christ, and it yields us a great reward as we read in Matthew 10:32:

"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."

May that reward be yours!
