🧡 Together, we are bridging the gap! 🧡

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Every Meal this school year. Thanks to your immense generosity, Eden Prairie UMC $6,736.06, allowing us to support approximately 15 students at Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion and Oak Point Elementary.

Because of you, Every Meal distributed 1,206 food bags—totaling 4,623 meals—ensuring local kids had food and stability through the weekend.

Your support goes so much further than a donation; it brings nourishment and hope right into our community.

Thank you for living as light and making a tangible difference for Eden Prairie children this year!

We reached the midweek peak of our alpine adventure, and the energy on the mountain is higher than ever!

Today, we heard the powerful story of the widow who gave everything she had—just two tiny pennies—and learned that no gift is too small when given with a big heart.

Megan kept us all moving and grooving to today’s high-energy scripture song, “Philippians 4:13,” before our campers hit the trails for an action-packed day:
🎿 Games Feature: We had a massive surprise! Andrew from Hyland Hills stopped by to give everyone an indoor ski lesson! He brought real ski gear and equipment, giving our campers a true taste of the slopes. (Parents: Grab one of the Hyland Hills brochures at checkout if you’re interested in winter lessons!)

🧪 Science: We tested out ball bearings to see how reducing friction can make a huge difference, connecting back to how even our tiniest gifts can accomplish great things for God.

🎨 Crafts: Campers created beautiful, unique snowflakes, and enjoyed another fantastic daily interactive play during story time.

👑 Snack: A royal treat! We enjoyed crown sandwiches complete with grape “jewels” as a fun reminder of Queen Esther’s story from yesterday.

Growing Our Mountain of Blessings
Our campers are taking the widow’s story to heart this week as we continue collecting donations for PROP’s Summer Food for Kids. Every penny, dollar, and donation helps PROP partner with Eden Prairie schools to supply fresh, perishable foods for local kids all summer long. Let’s see how much we can add to our total tomorrow!

Day two is officially in the books, and our mountaineers brought even more excitement today! We scaled some serious heights learning about Queen Esther, who showed incredible **C-O-U-R-A-G-E** by stepping up to save her people.

Megan kept everyone moving and grooving to our song of the day, and the rest of the mountain was packed with alpine adventures:
🧪 Science & Games: Campers went “ice fishing” for ice, tested out insulated “blubber gloves” in freezing water, and scrambled to grab snowballs under a giant parachute!

🎨 Crafts & Story: We crafted some absolutely stunning winter snow globes and watched the story of Esther come to life during our daily interactive play.
🍩 Snack: A delicious, powdered sugar donut snowman! ⛄

🐾 The Ultimate Highlight: We had a visit from a very special guest! Our resident therapy dog, Wrigley, stopped by with his human, Serra. The kids loved getting to pet him, ask questions, and show him some love.

Today, our amazing campers raised $43.30 for PROP’s Summer Food for Kids Program! Let’s keep this momentum going and see how much we can raise for the kids by Friday!

Carnegie Hall, you were unforgettable! 🗽🎶

We’re still on a high from celebrating our amazing choir members this past Sunday. They joined voices with choirs nationwide to perform the Magnificat on one of the world’s most iconic stages.

❄️ Day 1 of Snowball Mountain Challenge: IN THE BOOKS! 🏔️

What a spectacular start to our Vacation Bible School week! Today, we kicked off our alpine adventure by learning all about Joseph, and how he faithfully used his gifts to interpret dreams, even while in prison.

Our campers brought the energy, and the mountainside was buzzing with excitement! Here is a quick peak at today’s snowy highlights:

🎮 Games: A thrilling bobsled race and some serious high-energy fun with pool noodles!

🎨 Crafts & Science: We got messy painting with “snowballs” and bubble wrap, and closed out strong with the ultimate crowd-pleaser—Mentos in Diet Coke geysers! 🌋

🎵 Music: We found our voices and learned our official theme song, “Snowball Mountain Challenge.”

😋 Snack: A massive hit! Rice Krispie treats topped with blue frosting and a giant snowflake.

This week, our campers are putting love into action! We are collecting donations for Summer Food for kids programming. PROP partners with Eden Prairie schools to provide fresh, perishable foods during their weekly summer weekend distributions, ensuring local kids have nutritious meals all summer long.

How to help: Send your camper with donation change/dollars this week, or drop it off at the registration desk! Let’s see how high we can grow our mountain of blessings!

Last night, our singers joined forces with incredible choirs from across the country to perform the magnificent Magnificat cantata. Standing together on such a historic stage, surrounded by hundreds of voices and a full orchestra, was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through collaboration.

We are so incredibly proud of how our community represented us in New York City! Thank you to everyone who made this spectacular performance possible. 🎶🗽
