It’s our deep joy to honor the life and ministry of one of our beloved Bible teachers, Debbie Burke. Debbie was dear to us, and to so many of you. She was a faithful teacher of the Word, a dedicated leader, a generous volunteer, and a friend to many in Women’s Ministry.
After a four-year battle with cancer, Debbie’s healing was completed on Tuesday, when she was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She touched the hearts of so many in our church, but none more than her dear husband, Dan, her precious children, Madison, Graham, and Hannah, and her granddaughter, Ember. While we grieve with her family, we hold firmly to the hope of the gospel—a hope that anchored Debbie in her fight against cancer and in her mission to honor and exalt Christ.
Debbie’s faithful and fruitful life inspires us to love Jesus, to know God through His Word, to depend on His promises, and to love our families, friends, and neighbors with gospel hope. We are so grateful for her investment in our lives, and we will miss her deeply. We know you will, too.
From all of us in Women’s Ministry, we love you, Debbie.
Well done, good and faithful servant. ❤️
