PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 5/30/18
It’s with mixed emotions and a humbled heart that I share the dissolving of The Truth Church as a congregation. You must know this decision came with much attempt, toil, prayer, fasting, thought and spiritual council. The truth of the matter is the desire, vision, mantle, oil, gifting and calling for pastorship was upon that of our beloved late Pastor Chris. And while yes I, as his assistant/wife, know that I am gifted, called, anointed, graced, etc, in many areas, it’s just not in Shepherding...and I am settled in that realization. I would be doing the body a disjustice, myself a disservice, and his legacy a disgrace to have remained where I was not called; for he taught me better than that. He got a chance to carry out His heart’s desire and The Truth Church body got a chance to be forever transformed as a result of His obedience. To GOD BE THE GLORY!!! I just wanted you to each hear it from my heart first hand.
So what does this look like moving forward...it means we will need your continued prayers, love and support as June 30, 2018, will be our last day as a gathered congregation. The membership is deciding as we speak, on a way to properly celebrate the three years of ministry shared and will be making announcements as they are agreed upon. With only one month remaining, we will still be in Bible Study each Thursday 6-8pm during the month of June and in Worship each Sunday of June (10am Sunday School/11am Worship) at our “House of Prayer”, located 3744 15th Street, Ecorse, MI 48229. Please pick one or all to share in our culmination month, remembering one so dear and embracing the loving bond that we each share in this walk of Christianity.
