This past Saturday evening, LMPC gathered for our second Matthew 28 Missions Dinner, a special time of fellowship, encouragement, and learning about the work God is doing through missions around the world.

We were blessed to welcome Owen and Mikayla Hallbach, who are preparing to serve with Mission to the World (MTW) in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Along with their son, the Hallbachs hope to move to Honduras in early 2027, where they will first attend language school before partnering with a growing church plant and helping establish new churches in the city. Owen will serve through teaching, preaching, and discipleship ministry, while Mikayla will be involved in children's ministry and encouraging young mothers and families.

As we shared a meal together, Owen gave us a glimpse into their calling, preparation, and vision for gospel ministry in Honduras. The evening was a wonderful reminder of Christ's Great Commission in Matthew 28 and the privilege we have as a church to pray for, encourage, and support those whom God sends to proclaim the gospel among the nations.

Please continue to pray for the Hallbach family as they prepare for this next season of ministry and service.

What a joy it was to gather in worship this Sunday and celebrate the sacrament of infant baptism at LMPC. We are thankful for the Lord’s covenant promises and for the privilege of welcoming this precious child into the visible church family. Please join us in praying for this family as they raise their child in the knowledge and love of Christ.

A few months ago, Joe Street and Chris Johnson began exploring short-term rental options for our congregation. After thoroughly reviewing opportunities across the Lake Martin area, and in coordination with the Session, a new option has emerged.

LMPC is moving locations this Sunday, May 10 with a new service start time of 9:30AM!

We’re excited to share that the Lord has opened the door to a new meeting space at Union Methodist Church in Eclectic, AL (691 Central Rd, Eclectic, AL 36024). This location will give us more room to grow, gather, and worship together as a church family.
