The Children's Ministry of Good Hope Baptist Church exists to:
*Partner with parents as we together lay a spiritual foundation
*Help each child experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
*Teach each child to: Worship God, Love Others, Serve God and to Share their Faith with others.
*Support families with fun, creative ways to enchance each child's spiritual journey.

A king named David wrote a special song called a psalm to celebrate God’s compassion and grace—His undeserved love and forgiveness. Kids are learning that God’s grace changes us from the inside out. We know we do not earn or deserve forgiveness, but when we have it, that forgiveness fills us with joy and peace. Surprise your kids with a special “just because” treat, sharing that we can enjoy God’s grace the same way—a gift we do not deserve.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)

How far away have you been from your kids—a city away, a state away, or even in another country? Being far away from the people we love can be challenging. However, distance is an amazing thing when it comes to sin. God loves us so much, and He forgives our sin when we ask. His forgiveness means that our sin is as far from us as the east is from the west, which we cannot even measure! Enjoy that our very close God offers forgiveness and removes sin.

Kids are learning this week about how God’s forgiveness makes us whole. Sadly, the disciple Peter betrayed Jesus before He died. However, when Jesus came back to life, He forgave Peter and invited him to continue following Jesus. Kids are learning that Jesus demonstrated how His forgiveness can make people whole. Ask your kids about a struggle with sin. Pray together that God would forgive their sin and help them live in the wholeness and love He offers.
