We serve God, help others, are serious about making a real difference — and have fun! We strive to live by the motto of the United Methodist Church: Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors. This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the deep cost of freedom and the enduring power of courage, love, and selflessness.

As we gather in worship, may we also gather in gratitude — praying for the families who carry both pride and loss, and giving thanks for those who served with unwavering faith and devotion.

There is just something about coming home to your church family after being away for a week. 💙

This past Sunday we were away in PA for Mother’s Day weekend, and this morning Michael was talking with his Pops about missing church. In true Michael fashion, he simply said:

“God and Jesus are the best God and Jesus in the world… so I knew I’d be welcomed back Sunday.” 🥹

And honestly… what a beautiful reminder of what church should feel like through the eyes of a child: love, welcome, grace, and home.

We are so excited to be back in the sanctuary this Sunday morning with our Prospect family. 💙
