🙏 Sunday Worship Recap | “Stinking Thinking” - Part Two

Today at Crossroads, we continued our series “Stinking Thinking” from Exodus 4:1–15.

We were reminded that we must choose to avoid:

1️⃣ Forming scenarios of defeat
2️⃣ Focusing on our inability
3️⃣ Fear over faith
4️⃣ Forgetting God’s ability
5️⃣ Forsaking God’s promises

Sometimes our thoughts can convince us that we aren’t capable, that the situation is impossible, or that defeat is inevitable. But God reminded Moses - and He reminds us- that our limitations do not limit God.

When God calls us, we can trust His ability, His faithfulness, and His promises. We don’t have to let fear write the ending before God has finished the story.

Today we were reminded from Matthew 5:13–16 that as followers of Christ, we are called to embrace being salt and being light.

🧂 Be Salt | Make a difference in the world around you.
💡 Be Light | Let the light of Christ shine through your life so others can see Him.

We aren’t called to blend in with the world—we’re called to make a difference in it.

“Let your light shine before others…” — Matthew 5:16

Let’s carry that message with us this week and be the salt and light God has called us to be!
