You ever find an old, leather bible that has an interesting message written in it? This copy has an inscription from 1975 referring to sin. There’s also notes and underlining throughout. As I’m sitting here reading my daily scripture I can’t help but wonder about the original owner and the hours they poured over this book.

The physical bible is an amazing tool that I use daily. Keep a bible handy, make notes, study it, and believe it’s words…and it will truly keep you from sin in 2023 just like it did for someone back in 1975.

Community evangelism doesn’t have to be hard…Jesus gave us the perfect example. Go to where the people are and be prepared to pray and share the good news.

We took advantage of the amazing weather this week and hit a few areas. We visited the parking lots at the Towne Mall, Peddlars Mall, and even Walmart. We talked about Jesus with people at the Nature Park, evangelized at the tennis courts, and even prayed with a couple of friendly catholic priests outside of the mattress store. You never know who or where the Holy Spirit will put in your path. We are living the Great Commission from Matthew 28:19.

We're gearing up for a big December Evangelism drive. We're asking the local community and prayer partners to help us reach our sponsorship goal of $2,500. We're planning on hitting the streets and the following locations:

Donut Drops for Teachers/Staff/Administrators at the following locations
-Hardin County Detention Center
-Elizabethtown High School
-Panther Academy
-T.K. Stone Middle School
-Helmwood Heights Elementary
-John Hardin High School
-Central Hardin High School

North Main St. neighborhood canvassing
-Equipping boots on the ground with small care packages, bibles, and printed materials
