The beauty of the Gospel is that we don’t have to earn what God freely gives.
An inheritance is received because of the generosity of the one giving it, not because the recipient has somehow deserved it.
When we stop trying to prove ourselves and instead come before Jesus with humble hearts and open hands, we make room for Him to do what only He can do.
“Lord, I need You.” That’s a prayer He never turns away from.
