Another fantastic summer season of celebrations with a closing Pirate Festival! If you're in town this Sunday come join us at Morning Prayer. Service begins at 9:30am and all are welcome (even Pirates). You can also join us via live stream at https://www.youtube.com//streams.

This week we are holding a special contemplative Taizé-style service led by Sue Carroll Duffy and featuring music by Heather MacNaughton and Ann O'Brien.

O God, because without you we are not able to please you mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

September 6 is Salmon Fest Sunday in Eastport and if you're a weekend visitor, summer or full time resident, join us at Christ Episcopal Church ( 21 Key Street) for the Holy Eucharist. Gone Fishin? Nope. On Sunday, August 30th, Christ Church will be cocelebrating the Eucharist off campus with our sister parish St. Aidan's at our annual picnic. The bill flowed from a “clear and simple wrong,” Johnson asserted, and its purpose was “to right that wrong.” We the people, together made this happen. 61 years later(It wasn't that long ago).....
