Today, Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Mt. Zion Baptist Church family celebrated Usher Recognition Day.

This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful as it was dedicated to Ms. Doris Bailey (pictured seated) who has served with grace and commitment on the Usher Board for an incredible fifty years.

Our other amazing ushers: (pictured left to right) Ms. Marcia Penny Goodwin, Mrs. Patricia Jackson Johnson (Usher Board President), and Ms. Rose Ellison.

Our ushers are more than greeters, they are the welcoming heart of our congregation, offering a spirit of order, warmth, and hospitality to all who enter our doors.

The Mt. Zion Baptist Church Family extends heartfelt thanks to the praise dancers from Maloney Baptist Church in North, SC, for blessing our Sunday Worship Service on March 30.

Their beautiful worship through dance was a powerful testament to God’s presence and glory.
