Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton Where Reason and Spirituality Meet Service starts at 10 AM Sundays, generally runs about an hour and is followed by coffee, snacks and conversation.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton is a creed-free congregation of open-minded individuals and families who believe in the worth and dignity of every person and the interdependence of all existence. We are located on Route 50 (Ocean Gateway) in Easton, across from the Easton High School athletic fields. Please feel welcome to visit us whether you are passing through the Eastern Shore,

moving to the area or have lived here all your life. We are a supportive group of diverse individuals who share a common need for a caring community and a place in which we may freely and openly explore our spirituality and share our humanity.

In deep remembrance of Memorial Day and all of those killed, injured and impacted by war, Rev. Chris read My Hiroshima by Junko Morimoto to those gathered. He also brought a quilt of deep remembering made from 12 different pieces, each bearing the name of a child whose life was lost to war. In recognition of the sacrifices of all peoples impacted by war, may our hearts and minds be filled with gratitude, compassion, respect and sorrow all wrapped into one. Humans have great capacity for love and caring... but "we" tend to specialize in pain and suffering. UUFE is a place where change agents come together to make the community and world a better place. Peace be with us all!

Children's Religious Education (RE)
Sunday, May 17, 2026 - 10am
This week our lower level class (K-3) will work together to identify the difference between need and want and learn about relevant actions that make a difference in caring for the web of life.

Our upper level class will not meet this week.

In the playroom, children will enjoy the story Have You Ever Seen a Flower, by Shawn Harris. This was our Thoughts for All Ages book last week during the flower communion service. Coloring unique flowers will be on the playroom agenda!

Mystery Friends update: This week the kids write! Each kid should have received their adult letter from last Sunday. Please email me your kiddo’s letter by this Sunday or leave letters in the lower level RE room.
