Fear is real. It is human. We do not stop fearing, but in Christ our fears are reordered.
Jesus never promised His disciples they would live without opposition, rejection, or suffering. He invited them to become people whose deepest reverence for God was greater than every lesser fear.
When our loves are rightly ordered, our fears follow.
The fear of God doesn't make us anxious before Him.
It frees us from being ruled by everything else.
"The fear of God makes us fearless before man."
