Friday nights at Sure Foundation are entering a new phase. We trust that God is guiding our ministry to a higher level, and we are eager to see what He has planned. As a result, there will be no service tomorrow evening. Let's keep our residents and leaders in our prayers as we journey in the direction God is leading us. “This isn’t goodbye its I’ll see you later”
Lastnight was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but what I’ve learned in 13 years is if God speaks, I’m to obey!
Since the beginning of the year my family has been under attack. This hasn’t been an easy choice by any stretch of imagination but through lots of prayer and fasting I have decided to step down from Sure Foundation indefinitely. I know that sounds permanent but I have no ideas the lords plans, my heart will always be with Sure Foundation, but through this season one thing that God has really brought to my attention is the importance of my first calling, “my family”. Over the years this is one area I haven’t gave it my all, they got what was left. But God has broken my heart for my family to the point that they will never get anything less than my best. When the day comes and he releases me to come back, I’ll be prepared!
With all that said, I’m still here, still seeking God, Sure Foundation will still have service, all the amazing teams and leaders are still there waiting on you to come and be a part. I will even be there from time to time. My daughter won’t let me stay away from that place.
Pastor Chris Adams is leading the service and the guys as of right now and I believe he is the guy to take further than I could. Chris will need our support and love through this season.
So if y’all will welcome him to our family! Again this isn’t a good bye, it’s a see you later!

As believers we pick and choice what we think are wrong and right! Who are we to judge?
Gods word says ”not one is righteous”
“All have sinned”, “our best is filthy rags”!

But it also says, this gives us no excuse to keep living a life of sin.
But tonight I want to point out,we neglect a sin God calls, one of the detestable sins or deadly sins. The word calls it something the lord hates.
The one I want to point out is Gossip!
As the word says it: a lying witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.
As believers we are called to be peace makers!
As a friend of mine told me the other day,if we are in a relationship together communication isn’t optional it’s owed!
If we are brothers, we aren’t meant to tier each other down but to come to one another and work out our differences in truth, not to spread lies or half truths. We owe it to each other to hear each other out, but for some reason we neglect this sin, and tier our brothers apart without even hearing their side, or even checking to see if what we heard is false or truth.
Why?
James says all fighting comes from a selfish desire inside of ourselves.
Because we are sinners.
We can make a choice to live a selfish life or a selfless life.
We can choice to hate what God hates or to love this world.
Idk about you but I choice to hate gossip, and what tiers down my fellow brother.
I make the choice to build lives, not tier them down!

As a pastor you have many high and lows but last night was by far was one amazing!
Truly being able to lead 4 guys for the past 9 mouths of there lives as men of God and be able to send them off and celebrate them for what God has been doing in their life is amazing! But the icing on the cake was to be able to baptize 4 others, but 3 other men that are in my program, that God has trusted me to disciple!
This is truly humbling as a leader!

We are so thankful for everyone supported the restorations of our sanctuary and the help to get us back in to our building.
We love our community and we are forever grateful for you all!
