We are located in Eastland, Texas on the shores of Lake Leon. We are established around the beautiful 18-hole Lone Cedar Golf Course and have several great attractions around our campus. "Walk to the Cross" has been a tradition here at Solid Rock since the very beginning. At the end of every camp week, our campers take a short hike through the trails up to the cross. The narrow gate is the entrance to where the cross is located. We share with our campers the verse Matthew 7:13-14: "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." Once the group has reached the cross, they gather around as a team leader shares a recap of what was learned throughout the week. We encourage them to understand that life outside of camp can be hard, but they are built up to take the love and teachings of Christ into their own lives.
