First Holy Communion

We congratulate Gwen Gourley who received the Eucharist for the first time on Sunday. We pray that our Lord will bless Gwen as she journeys through life, and that the Eucharist will provide her with spiritual nourishment as she seeks to do God’s will. We also extend our thanks to her parents and the faith formation instructors who have been very instrumental in her spiritual development. Your love and concern are to be commended.

A rummage sale will be held in the basement of Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church, 420 McKinley Avenue, East Vandergrift on Friday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and on Sunday, May 3, from 12 to 1 p.m. There are many new items and monthly specials. For additional information, call the parish office at 724-478-4958.
