Monday Meditation:
Navigating through Foggy Times:
Reality tells me two things can be true at the same time. "It could be the best of days for one person, and the worst of days for someone else.
The word "nubilous" means cloudy, misty, or foggy. In our spiritual lives, we often face nubilous seasons where God’s plan feels obscured, our direction is unclear, and uncertainty surrounds us. However, Scripture reminds us that even when our vision is clouded, God’s presence remains constant, and His guidance is secure.
Here's a few Scriptures to encourage you to stay in faith for God's will to be done...
Exodus 13:21 – "And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night."
Psalm 97:2 – "Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne."
1 Corinthians 13:12 – "For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."
Walking through a fog can be unsettling. When you look ahead, the familiar landmarks are gone, and you can only see a few steps in front of you. It is easy to feel lost, stagnant, or anxious about what lies ahead in the gloom. But in the Bible, clouds and mist are not signs of God's absence. Quite often, they are the very intense markers of His presence.

Let's Pray...
Heavenly Father, when my life feels nubilous and the road ahead is hidden from my view, help me to rest in Your presence. Forgive me for demanding clarity when You have called me to walk by faith. Thank You for being my pillar of cloud by day and my fire by night. Even when I cannot see the next mile, I trust the next step to You. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen.
