It is with heavy hearts that our Founder and Pastor has transitioned to be with the Lord, Rev. Dr. Mark A McConnell. He loved the Lord, his family and his church. He loved and lived to preach God's word. A kind, loving and compassionate man of God....He will truly be missed. Again, we love you pastor...job well done, take your rest. We ask that you keep his family and our church family in your prayers in this difficult time.

In Memoriam: Rev. Glenn Shelton

We, the Woman's Auxiliary, mourns the passing of Rev. Glenn Shelton, husband of Sister Ginger Shelton and retired pastor of Second Baptist Church of Lincoln, Illinois.

Rev. Shelton was a dedicated member of the Wood River District Association and the Baptist General State Convention of Illinois.

We extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Sister Ginger Shelton, the Shelton family, and the entire church and denominational family during this time of bereavement.

Please continue to keep the Shelton family in your prayers.
