The Christian Activity Center fosters mental, physical, spiritual, cultural and civic development opportunities for children and parents living in East St. The combination of its holistic approach, Christian values, and genuine staff dedication make it a unique place of hope in the community. Key focus areas continue to be education, spirituality, health, recreation, and community reinvestment. In
recent years, the quality and depth of these programs has grown, resulting in clear improvements in the well-being of participants. Recognizing that parents play a critical role in the development of their children, CAC has also launched programs that help parents nurture and provide for their children. CAC’s achievements are made possible by sustainable fundraising, knowledgeable and committed staff, and an engaged board. The staff team has designed systems and processes that enable the organization to function efficiently and leverage the help of volunteers. The board is organized to provide oversight, review strategy and engage in fundraising.
