Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension Located at 720 S. Germantown road near I-24 in East Ridge, TN: Ascension gathers every Sunday at 10:00am for Sunday School and 11:00am for worship.

Ascension Lutheran Church meets each Sunday at 11:00 AM. We are led by Deacon Ellen Koester. This is Christ's church. There is a place for you here. We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person--questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world. We invite you

to participate in our worship service each Sunday at 11:00am as a way of building your faith through community, the liturgy, and music. Congrats!

Over here we are passionate about Citizen Science, so we asked the TVA STEM Ready program for a grant to install 5-6 weather stations around Chattanooga, and they awarded us the money to make it happen! This initiative will launch in the Fall of 2026! We are excited to start collecting data, mobilizing communities to be citizen scientists, and collaborate on some grassroots local climate action plans!
