It's International Picnic Day Thursday (did you know that was a thing? I didn't).
What a great time to remember the visit of Enable Forgotten Children and the international picnic they shared with us for coffee hour.

What a privilege to be a small part of how these precious members of our community are courageously responding to the call with obedience, compassion and generousiy.

Welcome Summer! Thank you to the many partners and volunteers who have planted seeds and nurtured growth. It's been a full year, with four new ministry teams launching and many growing in vitality, including a youth group that started with get-to-know-you events and has grown into monthly multi-church gatherings alongside RCC youth group with games, family time, rich content, and processing time. We had about 20 kids at church this Sunday, and can't wait to have them fully participate in our inter-generational summer services!

What seems to get in the way of fully living into your giftenness.

What a joy and privilege to be encouraged and challenged by the great cloud of witnesses around us responding to God's call.

Stories help us make sense of our experiences and move into better futures together. We are blessed to have the opportunity to listen to a variety of stories of friends and neighbors who are answering God's call. What a joy to have Rev. Cindy kick off this series! This week not only wraps up our sermons series on Stories that Matter, but prepares us for what is next

Stories have power. Through story, we make sense of our experiences and the world around us- the stories we tell ourselves, the stories we share, and the stories we listen to, the story of God at work in, around, and through us. What we learn through listening and sharing makes a tangible difference in our lives and the world around us.

We look forward to learning through the stories of brothers and sisters in Christ who minister in our midst, as we move into our new series coming this week!

We shared precious time with Cathy as she celebrated her retirement.

We are thrilled to be able to continue to support missions around the world, as we added Enable Forgotten Children serving in Kenya to our annual budget this year. Founding members (including our own Elsie Wright, Cammi DiMarco Axelson and Dave Oberg) will be sharing a mission update with us on June 7th. Don't miss it :D
