I am so incredibly thankful for my husband Apostle Eddrick High and a church family New Creation Christian Church that loves, honors, and celebrates me the way they do. This past Sunday, they surprised me with something I will cherish forever—a song written and produced just for me, expressing their thanks to God for my life and ministry.
As a pastor and pastor's wife, we don't serve for recognition. We serve because we love God and we love His people. But every pastor knows that ministry comes with sacrifices that are often unseen. There are prayers prayed in private, tears shed behind closed doors, burdens carried silently, and countless moments of pouring into others.
That's why this honor touched me so deeply. To know that the people I have the privilege of shepherding see the love, sacrifice, prayers, and commitment behind the scenes means more than words could ever express.
The song, the celebration, the kind words, the monetary gifts and the overwhelming love shown to me will remain in my heart forever. I am humbled, grateful, and reminded once again that I am blessed beyond measure.
Thank you, New Creation Christian Church, for loving me so well. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you in this journey of faith. And thank you for reminding me that what we do for the Kingdom truly matters.
