Happy Sabbath and Feast of Trumpets!

Happy Feast of Trumpets! 🎺 As the sun sets, we rejoice with you all in celebrating this meaningful Holy Day and the incredible hope it represents. The Feast of Trumpets points us to the triumphant return of Jesus Christ, when He will save the world from destruction and establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

As we look forward to that momentous turning point in history, may we heed Christ’s call to watch, remain faithful and prepare for His return. What an incredible promise and glorious future we have to look forward to!

Happy Sabbath everyone! The sea is never still, and neither is life. Yet amid all its movement, creation continues to declare the glory of God who is constant. May you find rest in Him this Sabbath.

Weekly Sabbath Report:

The message today asked the question: “Is the Kingdom the goal or the result?” Jesus explicitly commands us to seek the Kingdom of God. Yet Matthew 6:33 contains an important qualification that opens a deeper question: What does seeking the Kingdom actually mean? Scripture shows that God is not simply motivating us with a future reward. He is developing His own righteous character within people who willingly submit to Him. The Kingdom is therefore both something we seek and something the Father gives—the natural inheritance of children who are becoming like Him.

After services, we continued our Bible study on Godly governance. We covered the following points:

Civil Government: Authority Ordained for Order in Human Society
A. God permits and ordains civil authority for social order
B. Civil obedience has limits when human authority contradicts God
C. Christians honor rulers without placing hope in human government

Israel: National Governmental Models Under the Old Covenant
A. Moses: centralized leadership with delegated judgment
B. Civil obedience has limits when human authority contradicts God
C. Christians honor rulers without placing hope in human government
