Announcing...A Matching Grant for Camp Hope Horizon!

A generous partner has committed to match every gift—dollar for dollar—up to $50,000. At the same time, more than 20 students are currently on our waiting list, each hoping for a place at Camp Hope Horizon this summer. Help us say “yes” to more students still waiting for a safe, faith-filled space to grow, learn, and belong.

We’re so grateful for those who have already said “yes” to sponsoring a student. Special thanks to The City of East Palo Alto, Transparent Fish, and the Hua & Chan Family Foundation, along with several anonymous donors, for their early support.

Would you consider giving today to help us open more spots?

We remember Dr. John M. Perkins, who went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2026, at age 95. (June 16, 1930 – March 13, 2026).

In 1983, Stanford InterVarsity students were gathered to study the book of Amos and attended a Summer Institute on economic justice at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church and a leadership workshop taught by Dr. John M Perkins. They left changed. Three of them moved to East Palo Alto to serve. That decision became the foundation of our organization.

Dr. Perkins spent his life teaching that the Gospel demands more than words. He called it the "Three Rs," and it became the backbone of a movement that touched communities like ours. "Relocation. Redistribution. Reconciliation." His fingerprints are on everything we do. We carry his legacy every time we show up for the youth of East Palo Alto.

Rest well, Dr. Perkins. Well done, good and faithful servant.

We love our camp counselors! They show up for the students that come to camp in so many different ways, and make camp a safe and joyful place. We are hiring for the summer, so click the link to apply for a summer camp counselor position!
